LOVE YOUR LIFE - A DAY WELL LIVED

  • When getting out of bed, say “Thank You” as your feet touch the floor and smile
  • Remind yourself: Every day is a gift 
  • Become aware of your breath by inhaling deeply at the top of every hour or whenever you sense an increase in your stress level
  • Ask yourself: What do I want to focus on today, even for 15 minutes, that will allow me to feel a sense of accomplishment (Examples are: a special project, an exercise routine or hobby)
  • Plan a healthy dinner and anticipate preparing and enjoying each bite
  • Create a bedtime ritual that includes self care practices and have a book at your bedside that inspires you
  • Acknowledge a task, event or encounter that confirms that you made a difference in someone else’s life
  • Tell someone that you love them
  • Tell yourself that you’re awesome and that tomorrow is a brand new fresh start to the rest of your life
  • Stop your thoughts (bedtime meditation) and sleep well
